Do you know?

wd40

Most people reading this will know what WD-40 is but do you know what the main ingredient of WD-40 is and do you know what it can be used for?

'Water Displacement No.40'
The product began as a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts.

WD-40 was created by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company in 1953. Its name is derived from the project that was set up to find a 'water displacement' compound. They were successful with the fortieth formulation, hence WD-40.

The Convair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts.

Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you.

It's the best thing for cleaning that spotty shower screen, if yours is plastic. It works just as well as on glass. Why not try it on your cooker top?. Wow! You will find it is now shinier than it's ever been, you'll be amazed.
