REACHING OUT TO THE BRITISH COMMUNITY AROUND LEIRIA
The British Consulate in Lisbon, with the help of other partner organisations, will be holding a series of talks in Leiria on 15 March aimed at raising the awareness of British nationals in this region, of the range of services available to members of the British community in Portugal.
This event has been organised jointly by the British Consulate Lisbon, the UK Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Lisbon based Anglo-Portuguese law office Neville de Rougemont and financial consultants Imperius Asset Management. The talks will focus on a range of issues from what the Consulate can and cannot do for you, to pensions and benefits, wills and taxation issues. They will be held at Teatro Miguel Franco between 18.00-20.00hrs on Tuesday 15 March and will be followed by a cocktail for all participants.

Darryl England, Department of Work and Pensions – essential information about what help is available from the UK if you are living in Portugal.
