Hey Portugal are operating a collection for the local Bombeiros in Caldas da Rainha over the summer months. You can bring donations to our office at the Cencal roundabout near to Eleclerc - small bottles of water, snack & cereal bars, anything easy and quick to eat whilst they take a break from fighting the fires can be donated and we will ensure they are delivered. Also pop in to swap some books - all monies we raise from this go to the Bombeiros.
There are lots of local festas and music festivals going on throughout August, many are listed in our calendar and on our Facebook pages. There are a number of social events and coffee morning for ex-pats. International Ladies meet at the Internacional Hotel in Caldas da Rainha at 3pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month.
