Polis Partners are a national company and can provide a certificate for your house. This lasts 10 years and will indicate where you can make improvements to your energy efficiency. If you are selling or renting your house via an Estate Agent or Private Advertising Site, you need to have an Energy Certificate. Estate Agents will advise you of this and they should not put you house on the internet or in their window unless they have a certificate or you have one in progress.
Failure to have this certificate could result in a fine of up to €4000.
The certificate provides a rating for your house similar to that which you would get on your fridge or freezer. You will not be able to complete a sale on your house unless you have this certificate. For renting a property, the process is the same - you need an energy cert.
Polis Partners offers a competitive pricing plan and also adds in an extra feature: we supply you 3D floorplans of your house. This is a very useful, as potential buyers will often ask for a plan of your house and this plan is included free. To find out more or get a quote, contact Yann Alves on 911 841 513 or email

The EUR has found life tough this week, with losses against the Pound.EUR sellers have been presented with an extremely attractive window of opportunity to sell off any short to medium-term positions. With a near 20 cents increase over the past 6 months, any clients selling 200,000 EUR would have made an additional £22,000 on their currency transfer.During the first part of this week the Pound gained against the single currency pushing GBP/EUR exchange rates through the 1.25 mark at it’s highest point. However, the EU Referendum and a possible Brexit is still weighing heavily on the Pound. Yesterday the Bank of England (BoE) and its 9 voting members chose to hold interest rates at 0.5% and maintain the asset purchasing facility at £375bn. The BoE warned that the EU referendum, which decides whether the UK will remain part of the EU, could cause some softening to growth in the UK especially in the housing market. Please contact
