The Euro has suffered for the duration of this year mainly due to the introduction of QE (Quantitative Easing) but the ongoing situation in Greece and the VW scandal were also some of the main contributors to the weaker trend for Euro exchange rates. However the introduction of QE does now seem to be working for the Eurozone with Mario Draghi (President of the ECB) implying that further QE was not necessary to maintain a sustained recover. The speech was the catalyst in the Euro strength that we have seen over the course of this week. The Euro gained almost five cents in five days of trading, creating an excellent opportunity for the Euro sellers who may have been regret full for not taking advantage of the spike we saw last month. The Euro is currently trading at around4 cents lower than the same time last month. A house with everything? When we have people looking for property we always try and get their ultimate wish list. There are many things that appear on everyone's list - Sea Views, Swimming Pool, Fruit Trees, in a village, one hour from the airport, close to golf courses, not overlooked, fully furnished, great price, walking distance to bar and mini market. Could this be your ultimate house? The property consists of 3 bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, a huge kitchen diner, massive lounge with patio doors and balcony with exceptional views of the Obidos Lagoon and the surrounding countryside and is installed for central heating ( the boiler is in place, just add radiators). Two of the bedrooms have patio doors and there is off road parking and a Gin and Tonic tree - what more could you ask for except a good price, which incidentally it has. Ideal as a second home, holiday home, retirement property or an investment. This won't be around long.
